Thread: multiple hosting of dolphin 5.5 ??

hi dear

i have a domain name www.stockhill.com which has TWO addon domains called www.gndusite.com and the other add on domain is www.kingmarriage.com

ADD ON DOMAIN EXAMPLE IS THIS THAT TO SAVE THE HOSTING SPACE I ADDED THE GNDUSITE TO MY MAIN WEBSITE LIKE THIS http://www.stockhill.com/gndusite.com/index.php

MAIN DOMAIN IS WWW.stockhill.COM

dolphin is NOT installed in my main domain www.stockhill.com

first add on domain is www.gndusite.com

dolphin5.2 is installed and is working pretty well in this add on domain www.gndusite.com

second add on domain is www.kingmarriage.com

i have already uploaded the dolphin 5.5 in this folder , but the site doesnot works, means that after uploading when i write the site name installtion does not begin and an error comes ??

The dolphin software 5.2 is working perfectly well in gndusite.com but when i uploaded the files in www.kingmarriage.com it doesnot work and the following error comes

Internal Server Error 500

The server encountered an internal error or misconfiguration and was unable to complete your request.

My friend has told me that it is due to some "Application variables" which " "clash with each other".

Is their any way I can install the software in the second add on domain www.kingmarriage.com also .

My website hosting company is www.netfirms.com

After writing this question i did some search and after searching the google to find any solution what i get ( a possible solution) is that their is a file called .htaccess in the second add on domain which has this line written into it

php_flag register_globals Off

and i should make this line to

php_flag register_globals on

Will this help....??

I have NOT done the above change my question is that will my existing working site www.gndusite.com stop workings if I do that because it is my univeristy website GNDU University and alot of my friend have profiles in this site and i dont want to embarress myself any more by doing some silly mistake and letting my existing site down.

So if do the above change do i have to change the .htaccess file in the first addon domain also??
