GPL Date upgrade
Hi Guys,
have been using GPL Date version 0.39 for a while and was wondering what would be the best (easiest) upgrade route.
What would it be better to upgrade to, without losing any mod's to the GPL Date script and is there an upgrade file/s?
Or a complete new install and would I have to redo all the graphics / databases?
Also, what are the problems if I keep the Ray & Orca modules?
Any help greatly appreciated.
With any of the versions - GPLDATE, CLEAN, DOLPHIN FULL, if you update, you need to re-add in your modifications. This is even true for scripts like phpBB or vBulletin or others... if you mod it and then later upgrade it, you need to re-mod it.redo all the graphics
You can use the upgrade scripts supplied by BoonEx for this - and it is more then just the databases, the way some files are stored (like profile photos) has changed since then.databases?
No real problems - just that some people don't like Ray and or Orca, and want to use other scripts to do the same thing (or nothing at all).Also, what are the problems if I keep the Ray & Orca modules?
