Default Upgrade AE 4.1.002 to Dolphin 5.6 or newer

    Hello all,

Maybe there are some one there can tell me what there is the best way to do.
I now running AE 4.1.002, and i think without bugs its run very stabil, i use a lot of time last year to find bugs, and make designs, search modmystite, and ae, in the start i use ae support, and some thing i get help too, but not all, and i have the same problem like others - bad support.

I think about to upgrade to the new dolphin. ray, and orca, and in the moment i have install dolphin, its run, but some problems are there - orca cant i get up and run, i dont know what the problem is, maybe my mysql is to old, or my php not is set up for this, i found this with expertz - http://www.expertzzz.com/Wiki/home/309/
    - and my server dont have this setup

Well - to make a long storry short, we have now only 340 members, and about 150 have photos, we will now make some marketing for our site, and i think its will be easy now to convert photo to dolphin, think if we have 2000 photos to convert

But - will i get in big problem if i upgrade to dolphin, or are there any " ready to go, without bugs" release from modmysite / Smoge company to some price i can pay

I will in the future like to run 3 or 4 dating site and use the same DB, orca, and ray chat, or ae ect. its depend of what answer i get here.

Im not good to php but a littel i know about it.

Are there any possibility in the future Smoge will made some dating script there are good i can buy -

    Thanks in adwance

    Hi,

We have a way to upgrade from any release of aeDating or Dolphin to any later release of aeDating or Dolphin (except 5.6.0, which was a 4 hour wonder release - only out for a short time and said to be defective).

As for going to Dolphin - there is a lot of validity in what you said "its run very stable, i use a lot of time last year to find bugs, and make designs" so the question is, why do this? If you really need some of the new features - then OK, upgrade - but don't do it unless there are very good reason(s) to upgrade... there is a lot of work involved.
