I assume you are talking about the removal of the gold information from the database if you do the upgrade described on aeDating's website to patch #2.

I think they expect people to read the database changes, and not just apply them blindly... however, in practice, people will just apply them, without even a backup.

I agree - this should be pointed out very clearly in the update information in aeDatings upgrade instructions , that this important old paid membership informationwould be dropped from the database.

Better yet - would be if they supplied a conversion script from the old gold to the new custom levels.... as it stands now - this does not exist.

Another issue - if you remove ExtraAddons, it will then break some custom mods... someone already posted that a user panel gold member statistics mod is no longer working for them (as it does a lookup on ExtraAddons).

In anycase - when I saw this - I at least, posted a message about it here right away.
