Unauthorized Links on Index Page

Dear Smoge and fellow MMS Members,

I don't know what is going on but there are some hidden links on my index page that I have not authorized or inserted myself.

Does this mean I have been hacked?

There are 3 links inserted into 3 different highlighted words and when I click on them small pop up windows show up.

What is this? Help

Not neccessarily

where do the links point to.
Are you sure you did not put them there.
Are they aedating links.

Give a link to your site so we can have a look.

Also paste the HTML code here.

check your links in the admin.

also paste the code for your index.htm page here.

save your access_logs so we can study them

Well - for starters, is your register_globals off?

Has register_globals ever been on?

Did you remove these links? I don't see them on your index page (view source) now.

Hey there everyone,

I do not have these links on my website after all. I was using my computer at work and saw those links. I think my computer at work may have some sort of virus on it.

I checked with my webhost and they did a security check and my site is okay, they said there are no links on any of my pages. Also when I check my site from other computers the links are not there so thank god my site is okay.

My register_globals have always been set to "Off".
