    Default ADVERTISING PARTNERS

    Band together to co-op an ad campaign budget.

    Some thoughts would be to purchase a new script from aedating and allow us all access to it. We would use our pooled budget to advertise that 1 site explaining that the profiles would be added to multiple sites. Promoting it as a positive. "place 1 ad and get access to many sites"

    I think this idea would work, because we all need alot more users for our sites to work and start making money.

    How about a similar idea to lcc's ... we create a kind of Better Busines Bureau of dating sites - the Dating Chamber of Commerce or World Coalition of Dating Sites. Basically a directory with a twist. A panel of 3 "judges" rates dating sites based on various criteria. On approval, sites can display the organization's logo as a statement of quality. The organization's site will have the database of all sites with screenshots and descriptions and a search element. Fundraising for advertising will be done via membership fees and affiliate payments (commissions on new paid memberships linked from the directory). The goal will be to create co-op advertising programs on the net and in print for its member sites.

    If there's some strong interest I will design and fund the hosting for the organization's site.

    People say there's lots of competition and that's why they don't want to share promotional ideas. I believe, coming from the land of Starbucks, that there's plenty of customers to go around. If you can have 2 Burger Kings, 3 Taco Bells, 1, Wendys and 3 McDonalds in 2 square miles you can have an infinite number of dating sites in an infinite web world.
    By joining forces and resources we can create far greater buying power and develop our respective niches into sales powerhouses.
