Thread: Spam???

I see ModMySite is getting a ton of spam since the upgrade to 3.7.1. I also had this problem, I'm running vBulletin 3.7.2 on my site. The only way i was able to get it to stop was to set it up so that any new members have to physically go to their email and confirm before they can post. Smoge If you find a better fix please post it.

Yea - it has been a problem.... I just set all new users from a while back to moderated - and until their posts go live - I check them - and if they seem to be OK - move them to registered - if not, delete the posts and ban them.

I am hoping after a while, it clears out.

If not, will need to do some more drastic steps.
