I don't know if any of you have heard of OSdating - it is a free opensource dating script.

I would like to know the advantages and disadvantages of Dolphin against other available dating scripts out there. Please be sincere.

I have uploaded OSdating onto my server and find although it is a big script, and took sometime getting it to work - it seems be very good. I do not want to embark on a road however which would not be beneficial for my clients.

Please can you give your comments on this.

I won't post my url as that would be seen as spamming here. I won't say OSdating is better either to get the ball rolling on this. So I hope that this approach works. If I am posting in the wrong place - apologies

If I am to ever upload Dolphin onto my server - which I would presume thats what you all would like - can you tell me all the benefits of Dolphin to my clients - PLEASE otherwise we'll just be another run of the mill dating agency.

I'd rather not post about anything else other than Dolphin - like cats, dogs holiday trips and ufos - I don't go on holiday, have no pets and don't believe in aliens - sorry.....

Hmmmm... why don't you setup a test domain - or a sub-domain on your web host, and try to upload it and install it.

Then at least you would have some first hand experience with it.

Thanks for your reply. I want to hear first hand experiences though from people who have it up and running with clients etc using it, listing the benefits to their clients. Its beneficial but not perfect if I just test it personally.

Hi Fiona2,

I think most people here at this forum are running Dolphin only so they don't have really any other experiences outside of Dolphin.

I was trying to check
- Dolphin
- osDate
- PHPizabi (dead)

and I found Dolphin the best one. But it is still (and obviously will be in the future) very buggy. So I'm waiting for the next CLEAN version here.
