WESWAYS - maybe you should be banned for:

1) buying warez
2) posting the same message multiple timews on the site.

I am on my mobile phone now, or I would clean up the mess you left right now - it will have to wait until I get back to the office.

I am not impresed with such multiple posts, it is VERY LAME.

You think banning does anything? Really - its 2008 now, you are site admins - I would expect you to know more than that.

Ok - lets say I do ban him... then he comes back as a different username... using anonimizer or other proxy - how does that help anything?

I know CodyT is not an idiot - I am sure he would just do that.

So, it's pointless to ban in this case... at least if he uses the site as CodyT, you know who it is. If he comes on as a new user... that just adds to the "game" - escalates it.

Its a link to some other site... what's on that site - sorry - not my problem.

I will delete them when I see them and time permitting (as I would with any link) - but it's not going to be my daily task to search threads for it... if you have a problem with a post - REPORT it - there is a link in each post for this.

You went to his hosts - reported him... this is the proper procedure for this.

Dont make excuses for him. He has lts of enemies, all of whom were stolen from.

I am not making excuses for him.... but honestly, it's not my problem. You guys can expend the time and energy to deal with it. The problem I see is people making identical multiple posts in different forums and threads about the same thing. This is not acceptable - and just mucks up the forums.

Newbies to the site (like me) have no idea they are being scammed or that he is selling something that is not his to sell.

Expertzzz is flawed in many ways - thus - we don't even use it... we only have one mod listed there - as a test. I never login there - only when I get an expertzzz email from someone.

I just did search on expertzzz (not logged in, as when logged in - the search there is broken - in both IE and FF - bunch of crap)... for modmysite - no posts found.

You guys want me to help you with your Expertzzz problems - and none of you even bother to say anything on Expertzzz about modmysite.... scratch my back, I'll scratch yours.

Ok - so you never said a word on Expertzzz about Modmysite, lets see what you contributed here on ModMySite....

You two have contributed nothing useful to ModMySite, and done nothing but waste my time, up to this point.

Bottom line, is the same as always:

1)You have a problem with a something - post one post about it... not all over the site. Multiple posting of the same contents in multiple threads is NOT ALLOWED on any FORUM in existence on the internet, and is a major violation of net etiquette.

2)If you have a problem with a thread - report it using the report it link. Also a standard procedure in all forums.

3)Contribute something here other than this current flame war. Also, expected on any internet forum.

4)Fight your own battles as you see fit - I will not do it for you except for points 1 and 2 above.

On a side note - and sorry to say this --- I know you are angry at CodyT, AmatuerOasis - but things you said to CodyT like "Keep it up and you will find out just how much multi million dollar lawsuits can ruin your life." is actually nothing but funny.

Not banning CodyT is your choice. Your board, your say.
BUT, Expertzz has seen fit to ban him and his IP. True, there is always a way to get back in. He has tried. And he has been kicked out again for creating a new identity and using it to rip off more users. Me included.

The fact that he can get back in is immaterial. Perhaps if he stole from you then you would take his actions a bit more seriously. He has been banned in the best interests of the Expertzzz community. If he comes back and is discovered he will be kicked out again.

You can let him keep his screen name here. But keep in mind that his actions are a threat to each and every one of your members. He is a Trojan Horse on this board, and he preys on less experienced members that dont know what they are in for if they do business with him.


Now, about what you percieved as a threat. I was just reminding you that this is your board and you are responsible for the content and the links as well. You can claim that a link to another site does not concern you, but I assure you if a user posted a link to a site that had child porn you would be obligated to remove the link expediantly. Because you cant have links to illegal content on your site or you become a party to the content. Links to sell pirated software is in the same catagory, ILLEGAL.

If you had links to a pirated version of Windows Vista, how long before the full weight of Microsofts legal department came down on you?

Sorry, but you are responsible for the content and the links that your members make available to others.

As for me making multiple repeat posts in multiple catagories, I did not do that. I commented on one existing thread, and created a new thead. I think is is important to keep your board users informed of what kind of person CodyT is to do business with. Closing the thread I created is a disservice to all of your users.

Getting cheated is no fun, but to see that guy that stole from you and find out that he has carte blanche to do his thing on another site because the board admin thinks all the cheated people are making a big deal over nothing is real insulting. I repeat, if he stole from you, or cheated you, you may think differently on this subject.

As far as me mentioning Modmysite on Expertzzz, what would you have me say? I have posted to the threads on Expertzzz and told them CodyT can be found posting here. Expertzzz users want to know where CodyT is peddleing his stolen warez, I pointed them here.

Now you want to talk to me about a violation of "net etiquette", well please show me where in your "net etiquette" that it says it is OK to rip off people, pirate software and make death threats? Your complaining about a few posts by angry people who have been ripped off? This guy threatend to stab me in the neck to watch me die. You think I take that as a joke?

Laugh at the possibilty of Cody being sued, but intellectual property is protected and soon or later someone will go after him in a big way. It can ruin his life.

Lastly, you want me to contribute? I am a newbie and do not have mods to contribute. Nor do I have stolen mods to peddle at a discount. Does that dissallow my participation here?

I still have not been able to resolve the video uploading issue. I have edited .htaccess to add variables supplied to me from Expertzz users, I have created php.ini files in home dir and in admin dir.

In fact the way I became aquainted with CodyT was that he was selling a mod that supposedly would fix this. I bought it from him and he never supplied the mod.

I still cant upload vidz larger than 8 megs. Any suggestions Smoge?
