Thread: How to replace the Header Text

Hello, Is there a way to simply replace the "AEdating" Header title?

Sure - you can change this in your lang file/db.

Search for aedating either in you editor (if pre v4.1.1) or in the admin lang panel - and see what strings come up, and edit them.

I see the strings, but I'm not exactly sure what to look for. Is there some way you could screen print the area that I am suppose to edit? I think I can do it if I can see familiar string information.

At the Very Top of you lang file is something like:


<a class=bottommenu <a href="http://www.aewebworks.com" >AE webworks.com</a>.',

We changed this to point to our forum and 2257 statement

<a class=bottommenu <a href="http://www.cageme.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=17" target="_blank">Copyright CageMe.com 2257 Statement</a>.',

You can comment it out, change it or whatever.

Thanks Pro, But I'm a little confused. I just want to change the "AEdating" text logo to say "Hyphy Singles" instead.

Depending on the template you are using your can just take that logo find its size create a new gif ( you cannot edit ae gifs they are locked) of that same size put in what ever colors or text you like and upload it to your images folder.
If you are using ae9 I have a blank you can use to layer on your new text.
If you do not have photoshop you can use gimp2 and its free.
