Thread: Rights to use pictures and other art in AE Templates.

I am new but I have a legal question. The templates distributed by AE contain pictures of real people. In normal (more developed) countries you have to pay buyouts for the talents (a fee which is negotiated with the actor/model ususally for 12 months). Question does anybody know whether AE has negotiated a deal with these actors/models that allow us to use these pictures forever and for free? It would be good to find out. If they have not paid the rights (or negotiated free rights) we might get stuck with a huge fee........

I would imagine they are stock photos but not sure what the license is around distributing them.

You would need to ask AEW, and ask them for a copy of the license?
