Default allow_url_include is off but getting error

Hi. I am getting the following error when I log into the admin area:

allow_url_include is On (warning, you should have this param in Off state, or your site will unsafe)
Please go to the
Dolphin Troubleshooter
and solve the problem.

I set up a phpinfo.php file, and it indicates that allow_url_include is OFF

I have it set to off in both my htaccess and php.ini files

It was working, and I think I may have made a change to something in php.ini which may have triggered this.

The site is crazysextalk.com

Dolphin 6.1.6 on Apthost shared server

Any suggestions or ideas?

Thnx

simply check your php.info or create a file like phpinfo.php and check the settings. Make any changes necessary and check. Dolphin 6.15 or 6.16 says to turn it off hence the warning. I don't think it is a big deal, but a security thing. So no need to be alarmed. Turn it off though if you have these versions or are concerned about security.

Hi

I'm on hostmonster, which allows you to change the PHP.ini method you're using fromn the PHP settings button in the cPanel.

For me I found it worked right if I install 1 master php.ini file from the cPanel then edit this (its located at public_html and every folder reads this one file, no matter what).

If you go down the route of using a php.ini for each folder, you'll be there all year! The above 100% fixed my problem which was identical to yours.

Yes - please don't do this - it makes a big mess.

I'm on Hostmonster as well but I can't get the error to stop.
phpinfo.php shows that both local and master value is off

I added php_flag allow_url_include off to my .htaccess
In my public_html/php.ini I have:
Code:
You must login or register to view the code on ModMySite.
What else could I try?
