Thread: Newsletter

Okay this is not obvious to use...can someone shed some light please

1. people (passers by, not members) that put their email address in the box requesting a Newsletter....where is that newletter on my admin panel...and how do I make that happen automatically

and

2. people (members) how do I arrange that they get an updated newsletter every quarter (my newsletter will be quarterly)

Im currently on ae4.1.4....sorry if this is easy....it just does not seem logical to me....grrrr!

Hi Nick8888,

Its in the Admin Panel >> Mass Mailer. The sending does not happen automatically you need to add (Add Message) the newsletter to the mail queue.

Hi, cheers for that, found where you mean....before I start entering my newsletter stuff...can you tell me....

Am I allowed to put in HTML code in there, or is it just text....I have seen the basic HTML on standard emails....wanted to be bit more jazzy than that...not going to go crazy, but still wanted more than a dull couple of paragraphs and link.

I think your version supports sending with HTML content.

hi again...i think i understand how to put a HTML coded newsletter together...but how can i add some pictures in the newsletter....I want it to have more than just some colours in it....any suggestions please
