Thread: Mail & messeges going to mail cleint's bulk

Hello,

I am testing Email and other messages to client-based Email application such as yahoo. New Email and other messages go to bulk instead of inbox of the mail client. How can Email and other messages from the aedating scripted site be roconized as non-spam email so it can go to the inbox like messages from this forum. I notice all messages from this forum go to inbox of my Email client and not the bulk. Even when I send only one message, it still goes to the Bulk, which most people discard without reading if they are like me.

Here are a couple of possibilities:

BULK MAIL: Some of the words you use in your email can lead to misidentification of your legitimate emails as bulk mail. Many companies add a notice or link to information about how to add their address to the contact list in various email programs like Outlook Express.

SPAM: It could be that your hosting company hosts one or more spammers that have been reported to a black list. Your IP address given you by your hosting co. could have been used by a spammer before you got it, or the block of IP addresses that your server is in has been identified as spam.

In either case, you can contact the spam filter, email host, blacklist, etc., to notify them that your company and email are legitimate. I have had to do this with a few email hosting companies that were improperly blocking our email. It took a few weeks to get cleared up.
