Thread: RSS blocks not working

Hi,

I have installed dolphin 6.1.6 and this is the first time for me on Dolphin. The RSS blocks on homepage and profile page (forum posts block, boonex news block) are not working. These blocks just show the loading graphic all the time without ever showing the post. I tried posting this on unity but no one has replied.

Is your site path and all your permissions correct?

Load the same RSS urls in something like firefox (which can parse RSS), and make sure they are correct and working.... when you have trouble - always start at the core of the issue - in this case - are the RSS URLs working.

Thanks for the reply guys. This means a lot. I have been tearing my hair off for the past couple of days. These are the first replies i have got regards this problem on any forum including boonex unity.

Anyways Its fixed.... I had forgotten to set allow_url_fopen to on in php settings... sorry for the trouble...and thankx again
