    Default Tiki-Wiki Dolphin intagration.

Hello this will be my first post here.
What I would like to do is combine tiki wiki with dolphin. The first thing I would have to do is make it so what ever features i use from either software can recognize a universal login.
The second thing is i would want to be able to display dolphin pages inside the tiki css. I would love any suggestions on where to start.
    Thanks for your time.
    Oh let me introduce myself,
    My name is Glenn

We have integrated many many scripts with Dolphin.... I would recommend you start with the "unified login" part of your goals... get the single login working.

Prior to Dolphin 6, when user passwords were plain text, this was very easy to do... now that they are MD5, you need to do a bit more work to get this functioning....

But it is where you may want to start - as this is perhaps the basis for everything else in your goals.

This part "The second thing is i would want to be able to display dolphin pages inside the tiki css." - may I ask, what is the reason for that? Usually, you would show the wiki inside dolphin, not the other way around.

Well smoge to be honest I wouldnt be using the wiki part of the script. However I do like all the other features it has. The only problem I have found is it seems to move a little slow, a problem I believe can be fixed by removing features and modules I wouldnt be using. The only parts of the dolphin I would really be using is the profile section and all the features associated with it such as friends, groups etc. And of course the user home page. I had also intended to use the ray feature. I would not need the orca because i like the forums that come stock with the tiki script.
Ok now to try and explain what i mean when I say dolphin inside the tiki css. The basic Tiki layout is this, a header a with logo login and search bar, A horizontal menu bar which is controlled extremely easily with the tiki cms. on both the left and right sides there is a colum about 200 pixals wide that has many modules to use or not depending on what your needs are, a footer of course and the main content section wich is where I would like to have the dolphin features i want to use. So I would be using the tiki cms to control the header footer right and left colum and the menu bar and use the dolphin cms with the drag and drop blocks to control the main body content on the pages that would require it.
Now I do understand my description is very vague but that is the best description I could come up with. Oh tiki uses smarty template engine and I believe that the login is processed thru it and would prefer to use the tiki method of login.
Do you think my goals are realistic or should I choose a new direction all together.

An integrated approach is always better - as it ties your site together.

Sounds like a good approach - but will take some time to code / work out the details perhaps.
