    Default BoonEx Down - Admin Login Problems

    And Both the Boonex and Expertzzz sites are down. maybe there IS something to numerology after all!

    Yea - and those who have not NULL'ed their installation of Dolphin, will have problems getting into their admin panels until they are up again or until they NULL.

    Default Wooo, I hadn't even considered that one..

    Glad my version is all legal n stuff. Bought a license and everything way back when. Course I have a CLEAN Version and so forth. Can't remember where I got it, oh yeah, HERE.

    Yea - been getting PM and emails about this - so just sent out an announcement to everyone.

    If you are a aeDating or Dolphin user, you maybe alarmed if you try to login to your administration panel.

    The admin panel code has a "call-back" to the BoonEx site to verify license information and get latest version information from BoonEx.

    However, as of about 8PM (Eastern Standard Time), the BoonEx (and ExpertZZZ) website is down.

    This will cause problems for many of you logging into your administration panel.

    This problem will clear once the BoonEx site is operational again.

    Another option is to remove this "call-back" - this is available from ModMySite if this interests you.

    ModMySite provides support and modification services for aeWebWorks aeDating and BoonEx Dolphin, and also provides a free forum to exchange ideas and information about these and related applications. We have been doing this since 2003.

    Since we have received many concerned emails from ModMySite users about this problem, we felt it best to send out this informational email.

    WOW! I didn't even know it was down, but then I tried to get into my site, and for a little bit, it didn't let me but it did after a few seconds.

    It surprised me to get the email from here. I am glad I did.

    Perhaps they are getting ready to do the site for the final release? lol

    Default Tickets?

    Lol my website has the BoonEx Links removed and everything and it's still up and running.
    But it's still slow. It's probably because I'm in my Garden and my WiFi is way in the front room:L lol
    So do I just send a ticket? Does anyone know?

    Yes - it is different for each version... and in general, we don't distribute packaged mods - we do the mod on your site for you... packaged mods result in way too many emails from people who can't install them correctly or have mods on their site that affects the mods.

    It takes about 1 hour or so to BASE64 decode a site and test it and so on (and disable the call backs which caused this problem when the BoonEx site was down).

    We don't disable the license required banners and so on by default - but with the code BASE64 decoded, it is trivial (easy) to do.
