Thread: Dolphin 5.4 profile image not found

Does anyone know how to fix this please: http://www.forsomeonespecial.com/profile.php?ID=1728 if you click on the picture the popup says the image is not found, but it is there if you paste the URL into your browser.

It seems like the link information it is creating is incorrect. It is probably calling the wrong global variable. You can fix this by editing the code that creates the pop-up

Thanks, I've paid this site yesterday to upgrade it to the latest version, haven't heard back yet though. so hopefully it will all work after that anyway.

If you don't mind me asking...what version are you running? I am still running version 5.4 but I made tons of changes to my site. If you are interested in checking it out pm me and I'll give you the site name with a test username and password.

THe only trouble is I never used Dolphin before and I got the site off someone else so I have no idea what they've done to it, if the fault is with the software or something they did.

Sorry Smoge for the confusion, and thanks for continuing with the work.

5.4 after I sent the email

I really wish BoonEx would move the version information out of /inc/header.inc.php and into the database itself - so on an upgrade - this value can be updated.

Problem is now - people do upgrades - and don't update the version info in header.inc.php - which leads to confusion later as to what version is actually running.

In fact - maybe it would be good to automagically update both via the upgrade scripts - one for the database version - one for the files version - and then it can be checked later to see if they both match.
