Adding a Profile Type
I've been able to add a type to "sex", and in turn that added it to the search function, but I want to have it as a profile type. I've tried via the db to no avail, I've even tried editing the join form to list it, no go. Hell I can't even get the join form to display two of the same option.
Help? LOL

im sorry if i sound dumb but i don't understand what do you mean by profile type
I mean when you join you can either pick "single" or "couple" I want more options.

I'm new and have been looking to do the same thing.
How do you do this? I want to be able to setup different profile types that will change the join form depending on type, just like when it changes when you select couple. Can anyone help?Originally Posted by Toreador
We do stuff like this all the time for customers, usually for Gay sites - but for others too that use dolphin / aedating for other purposes like home sales and so on.
Adding the additional gender fields is a bit involved - so I can't really tell you how to do it here - it is more than just the database - there is a bunch of code changes needed also.
