Make the default settings for "Database Cleaning" greater than 180 days on new site installs (in the /install/sql file)!

9999 days would be better - let the administrators decide if they want it to be 180 days or whatever.

Unless the admins decide, you should not have dolphin (or, aedating, yes, you have been doing it for that long) delete anything automatically!

I don't know a SINGLE admin that wants their inactive profiles deleted after 180 days.... will you FREAKING change this default setting!!!

You can adjust it in the admin panel - look for "Pruning" and change the settings from 180 days to something like 9999.

Or do directly in the database, in the GlParams table

db_clean_profiles - most important unless you want to loose profiles

db_clean_msg - important unless you want email to be deleted

db_clean_views - important unless you want profile views to be lost
db_clean_vkiss - important unless you want kiss history to be lost

db_clean_priv_msg - used my IM - can be left at default

Andrew, can we also beg for the Prune(Clean Database) settings not defaulting to 180 days! Maybe NEVER (or 9999) is a better default setting. Do you have any idea how many emails we have had to respond to over the years from people wondering why profiles are disappearing from their sites!
