    Smile Icons on the website

Well its finally getting bit exciting for me on the website....moving things around to fit and stuff like that....instead of dull functional stuff....sorry smoge but that isnt such fun as making the site look good!!!!

So I have found my icons I want, and they are downloadable but I am so confused...I understand I need to have .gif files...okay!

But they come in lots of sizes....
    16 x 16
    24 x 24
    32 x 32
    48 x 48 (what?!?!)

Has anyone added icons on their site, what size did you use, and can you tell me any tips about icons please?.....before I put an order in for them!

Thanks Nick8888 (having some real fun with the site! he he)

    Default ahh okay..

Where do you plan on placing them? I'm sure it wouldn't be hard. I am however using dolphin v5.4., not really familiar with the a.e.

Default Hi, all good for that

no, its all good for placing and how to do that...have a man in the know!

but i was trying to get a heads up on any pros and cons of placing icons, and what sizes would be good to use that do not effect the site stuff like that?

    Default I guess you

I guess you can look at the current icons (if there are any) and look at the sizes on there to give you an idea of what a replacement icon would look like. So for example if the current icon is 20px by 20px and you placed a 24px by 24px icon in its place it might still look and fit very well. It will take some playing around but Im sure you'll figure it out. You can always get the larger icons and resize them in the html code and or resize them in photoshop. I've done that several times in my site, especially with the logo and a few other pictures..

    Smile icons resize

yeah, just read they send all four sizes so i can always play around with the icon and save it and then send it to the programmer to upload with stuff....
this is fun this bit....finding and designing stuff....but I have to be aware of certain restrictions to make life simple on the site....he he

cheers for your tips and support, it is always needed and welcome
