Thread: User's have more than one profile under same email?

is there any way I can let my users have more than one profile using the same email???

So lets say that a user of mine would want to have 20 profiles. ok cool deal. Now each of those 20 profiles will need a different user name right? or is there a way I can set it up so one user can control 20 different profiles?

Yes - you would need to change the checks on the join_form for this... since duplicate emails are checked. Also, if this person forgets their passwords - the "forgot" function would have some problems with the duplicate emails.

You can add profiles with duplicate emails from the admin panel though - Dolphin / GPLdate will warn you - but create the profile.

I was wondering about that too. I think the site I am working on now, having multiple profiles would almost be nessecary.
I have looked in the join_form and I didn't see any reference to mail or email. I saw where it checked for the username, but nothing about email.

What do I need to look for and how would I fix it to not check email????

I am running dolp 5.4.
I wanna make several profiles and test the forgot function like smoge mentioned, to see how it functions.
