Thread: can a user delete their own profile

hi,

a lot of my users would like the ability to actually deleted their profile (not just suspend). I think it also makes them feel safe from a security issue. Is this possible - I have found nothing in the users control panel or profile that will actually let a user delete their account.

in the act template i know there a delete buttom on the menu but not sure about the others

i removed it from my site tho

Im using the ae4 template and cannot find it anywhere!!!! can anyone please help???

edit inc/menu_design_xxx.inc.php and find this line and delete

$ret .= MenuItem("#3399FF",_t("_Delete"), "", "unregister.php", $site[url] );

so if i 'remove' this line it WILL allow users to delete their profiles?
I want them to be able to delete their profile.
