It depends.... you can try....

safe_mode=ON can work with Dolphin, but it needs to be configured correctly by the server administrator.... I am not sure what the case is on your server.

If you have problems after turning it back on, you can either turn it off again, or try to configure it to work with the script. When I say it, I mean "safe_mode".

Also, depending on your version of Dolphin, you may need to remove a check for safe_mode in the Dolphin script (even if you do configure safe_mode for Dolphin use).

You should use a programming editor and search for the string "safe_mode".

This will show you all the places in the script referenced:

Search complete, found 'safe_mode' 17 time(s). (3 file(s)).

Then check those codes, and adjust as needed.

Also, you will need to do more than that... edit the dolphin code... you will also need to configure your safe_mode on the server so the script can access/use what is needs.

If you have root access, why don't you just turn safe_mode off?

Or is there some reason you need to run it?
