Thread: Installation help needed.

Hello!

I'm helping my friend with making a new community website, a few days ago he bought webhosting, they told him that it was possible to install dolphin on it. But we're having some problems now;

We need to know some paths;
- Path to php binary
- Path to mogrify
- Path to convert
- Path to composite

Are we able to find them by ourself? Because we can't login to a shell account whatever, do we have to ask the webhost to give us the paths or Install Imagemagick or can we install it by ourself?

Actually, if you will be using GD, then the IMAGEMAGICK stuff does not matter.... but in any case, no harm in asking your host what the paths are - assuming they have IMAGEMAGICK installed.

and correct, IMAGEMAGICK is normally installed by root, not a user.
