Thread: Add a Photo Slide show to your site.

Again NOT mine but to kewl of a hack not to have on your site..

Code:

Create a new folder on the root of your site root called slideshow.

upload the folder "images" to the root of the slideshow folder. 
(This contains the starter image - you may of course make your own image to fit the style of your site)

upload the 2 files grab_image.php and slideshow.php to the root of slideshow.

Create a new htlm page called tmpl_XXX_page_slideshow.html

upload to your /templates/tmpl_XXX/  folder

And to make things very easy -  upload your entire templates folder to the root of the slideshow folder.  yoursitename/slideshow/


Or to make things really easy just upload the slideshow folder that is attached to your sites root folder. 

You will, of course still have to create and upload a new page tmpl_XXX_page_slideshow.html and upload it to the path mentioned above

I have the code to click on the pics that are presented in the slide show but I will have to dig it out of all the EXTRA code I have in there and compare it to the original code.
(it is the same code for the rate photo hack I posted ...LOL)

P.S. I do not think this code disregards private photos I have not looked at it in a while...
This may require additional code changes I will post them if you bump the thread...lol...

Here it is..

The prob with the slide show is that photo's are very easy to copy! I have turn of the right mouse button, but when I move my mouse over the pic there lights an icon to save the pic! Maybe someone have an solution for this prob?

Use a water mark...LOL....

People are going to get your photos...Period.

My 11 year old nephew knows how to do this about 5 diffferent ways.
About the only thing you can do is let everyone know where the pic came from....

This thread is a little old, but useful. Now, what exactly do you have to do to get this working? You mentioned creating an HTML file, but you said nothing more which really doest help.
