Thread: Sorting search results by percentage

I was using the following mod; however, I want to add in the ability to sort by the percentage (the one specified when you perform a search.

My question:
How do I sort by the percentage shown under the ID that is displayed? It says like 40%, etc... Any ideas? Just another way for members to get their results faster and more accurately. Any ideas how to do this since there is not just a percentage field; rather just individual match_fields. Is the match_field the same as that percentage match with someone? Thanks again!

This is a good question... currently, the search just does a query - and grabs them in the last logged in order.

To do what you want - you would need to do your query - then run that through the match code - then display the listing to the user, I assume sorted on cupid match percentage and last login.

It sounds like a nice weekend project.
