Thread: Add second photo Gallery

I need to add a second photo gallery that works independent from the first.
anybody know how I can accomplish this?

As I think about it if there is a way to create categories for images that would work for me as well. Then when a user ads an image they can choose the category for it to be placed in.

I've seen a Photo Album mod out there on expertzzz i believe, you can basically create albums, and each photo you upload, you can choose which album you want it to go in.

Other than that, you could duplicate and rework all the file references for the existing photo gallery.... browsePhoto2.php, viewPhoto2.php, upload_media2.php etc... but I believe you would also have to create mysql tables to hold the separate media file info. If you really want to go this route... i can look into it... otherwise i recommend searching the mods for the PhotoAlbum mod.

I'm using a mod for media categories on my site which I prurchased on Expertzzz. It allows you to create as many categories as you want for all of your media and select them at upload or the admin can manage them as well.

I'm also using the Albums Mod which would allow you to do what you are talking about. Each member can have as many albums for their profile as they'd like, and then sub-categorize their photos/videos/music by media category. Gives my members the ability to really have some fun with their stuff.
