Thread: Security image ERROR - crappy hosting

Our demo site runs plain text passwords with no problems - so I assume your security image problem is a server config or file permissions problem.

You can check if your tmp folder is writable also.

Ok - so now you gave me FTP access... saying "you have no other access to your server" - no Cpanel.

Why do you (and other people) try to run any of these scripts on crappy hosting.

I mean, if you don't have any real access to your server - and you have troubles - how do you expect to troubleshoot it or fix it?

If you need someplace to play - at least use a host that gives you the tools you need to do the job.... http://www.freedatinghost.com for example.

It just blows my mind.

I looked for a bit at your site using only FTP - but under these limited conditions - I can't help you much.

I don't think this is a CLEAN issue - it appears to be sub-standard hosting - so moving it here.

either is ok - ImageMagick or GD - but to use either - it must be setup correctly by the server administrator - and proper paths provided in your dolphin / aedating setup - and folders (tmp) with proper permissions.

Thanks Smoge, this is the 1st time Ive set up this script and the security image doesnt work, at this point Im not sure what went wrong. This server only has GD, this was why I had asked if it only wanted ImageMagick.

I have GD installed properly but security code is still not working. Please help me out

I have bought and installed the clean version 6.04 and all the paths in the script including mogrify etc are correct too. Please help me out how to solve it.
