    Default Unnecessary in 6.0

Just go to your admin panel, in advanced settings you'll find a profile settings or something like that, and you can add all the fields you want to the profile. It will build all the necessary html, etc. for you on the profile pages.

Default Try checking your input selections...

If you are using checkboxes, radio buttons, or otherwise creating a selection to choose from, be sure that your text doesn't use any unusual symbols or formatting. This seems to create problems for the form and it will not display properly on your profile. I ran into that same problem trying to use the selections for height from a previous version, and while it would actually allow them to choose a height, it would never display their input on their profile until I removed some non-standard characters and formatting that I had just copied and pasted from the previous table.

Ok this is what Im trying to do. I am trying to create an about me and interest field. I can create it in the admin panel under the profile fields thing, shows up in the edit profile, but it doesnt show up on the profile page. I can create check boxes and radio buttons no problem, but they show up in the memebr info. I need to create a about me and inetest field in a seperate location on the meber profile. If not at least in the member Info. But doing it as memo they wont show up. Thats my problem.

    Default Profie fields problem

I am having the same problem. I have used the profile settings tool in admin and have added many profile questions and checked off on making them visible...but.... they the don't show up in the profiles.

Also, the script decides what it feels is a required field and what is not regarless if I check on "required"

since they added it - the admin profile and join form editor has SUCKED and I suspect it still SUCKS.

Use phpMyadmin - harder - but works every time.
