I am using Dolphin 5.6.0005 on my website at http://www.swingersplaymates.com
A nice guy set the site up for me and I am using hostgator, linux system for my server. He got it set up and running but then had to leave me on my own because of lots of regular business. I'm out there now with problems and only know html, never using Php or linux etc.
Three times now I have had to ask hostgator to do a complete restore to my site and it's down right now in fact.
What happens is, I will make some sort of change in my admin panel and the next thing I know, all of my profiles and photos, logins and passwords all disappear from the site. It then tells me I have no members. This week I had around 40 new members sign up but then I had this trouble again. Hostgator is doing a restore again but they only backup on Sundays so all will be lost that was inputed this week so far.
Here is what I did in my admin just before the site lost it;
I changed the part where my members would be deleted after 180 days of inactivity to 1000 days. I saw a post here on this forum about Dolphin should change this to be 9999. Could this have caused my loss of data? Actually, all of the profiles and pictures are still there but they just don't display.
Is there something I could have done to make everything display again without doing a total restore?
Sorry I'm so dumb about this,
Kimi
