Thread: allow_url_fopen? might affect site if disabled?

Hi.

My hosting provider just sent me a notice stating that they have disabled allow_url_fopen at php.ini files for security reasons. I just wanted to ask for some information about what it is and if this setting of it being disabled can harm or affect my dolphin site in any way.
