Thread: Mass Mailer / Letters Not Being Sent

Hi.

My question is very simple because I have no idea about what is happening, if I go to the "mass mailer" section at my admin panel and add a letter/email/message to the mass mailer queue for it to be sent to subscribers, members, or both, the letter/email/message is successfully added to the queue but it is never sent (I have a message at the queue that has been there for about 2 weeks and has not been sent).

At "global settings", in the section "Notify Letters", in the input box for "Send emails from queue, it happens every cron execution (5m-1h)" I have tested placing two different values, 50 and 5, assuming that this variable refers to the "amount of emails messages" to be sent at every cron execution. Nothing happened, no message was sent.

(Note: my cron jobs are being executed correctly and every other email sent by the site is working correctly, at this moment the only thing that I have found to be not working at my site is the mass mailer system at the moment of sending the letters/emails/messages.)

Can somebody help me to fix this mass mailer??, please, I really need to use it. Thank you for your time and any help, take care.

Ok, after many days, I'm still here waiting for help, does anybody cares about the mass mailer issues??? heeeellllppppp please.

Hmmm... is it still possible to get help around here??? Does anybody continues helping other people?? I have not received a single reply, for a very long long long time, for my last 2 threads.

My cron jobs are set as indicated.

One is executed once a day and the other every 15 minutes.

Also when I tried to send a letter using the mass mailer I chose to send it to everyone, subscribers and members, from any age, from any gender, etc. etc. etc. and I have my site settings at the join page and the page for editing profiles for people to not be able to choose any notify option, as a result the database always states the "notify me" option for every member.

Well, I have the same email address for everything at my site, the address itself works correctly since I can send and receive messages without any problem, including emails from cron and emails from the admin panel like the "message from the administration" that can be sent at the page that lists profiles at the admin panel ( .../admin/profiles.php ).

What I did when trying to send messages using the mass mailer is as follows:

-Log in at my admin panel
-Click mass mailer link
-Under the title "E-mail message" I wrote the subject and the html body of the message and clicked "Add Message"
-At the following screen I had everything checked: send to subscribers, send to members, sex, age (from the lowest to the highest), country (all), membership level (all)
-and then, click on "queue message"

Then the message was listed under the "Queue status" section at the mass mailer page and I waited and waited and it have been like about three weeks now and no message have been sent.
