Thread: security image wont show? help please

the security image on my contact page is just an x the image wont load anyone else have this problem or a fix for it?

the site is located at tattooterritory.com memberships free if ya wanted to see some of the other problems heh but ya shouldnt need to join to see the contact page problems any help is greatly apreciated

I am not sure if you are using the "SEARCH" feature on modmysite.

You can find a lot of the answers you want there.

In dolphins admin panel - you can use GD or not. If GD is not selected - it will use ImageMagick.

Most of the time GD is fine. Maybe your path to php in your /inc/header.inc.php is incorrect.

In any case - making a phpinfo.php file, will tell you if GD support is compiled into your php install.

this will tell you if, and where, the imagemagick applications are located on your system

You can test your security image easily/fast by going to

Also - all of this could be related to the permission problems you mentioned in (many) other posts. Your tmp folder needs to be writable for the security image to work.
