Thread: Audio & Video Upload 5.6.2

has anybody got the Audio & Video Upload in 5.6.2 to work ..

I browse the file and click add ... I wait a time with it loading and then nothing .. nothing shows up .. I dont even know if it uploaded ...

Images are fine ... Just Audio & Video ...

If anybody has any Ideas thank you in advance ...

i dont really play with the audio/video but did you look to see if they are being entered into the db as an active media item?

Got the same problem in 5.5. Just tried to upload a 3 meg video, and nothing. When you say "being entered into the db as an active media item" what exactly do you mean. Where do we check for that.

if you use phpmyadmin you would select your database, go to the media table. Find the video you just uploaded and check the med_status field to see if that video or audio says 'active' or 'passive' this is the problem most people had with uploading pics. they wouldn't work unless activated in the admin section.

I just went into phpmyadmin, and under the structure tab, I do not see a table named "media". I can upload pics no problem, just not audio or video. I am running dolphin 5.5. Thanks for the help.

sorry the media table stuff is for 5.6.2 which is what smarty was originally asking about. if you are having the same problem i doubt that it is a 5.6.2 specific thing which means that it most likely is not the `media` issue i spoke about prior.

Iam just doing a fresh install ... Will let you know as so as I get it back up ..

I have uploaded a video 2.5MB no troubles, but I do have problems with larger files, try check you php.ini ask hosting to upgrad to whatever you want, but I have done that still can not upload big files

hey i just wanted to ask, how do you view your php.ini?
