Thread: Tabs.... I wanna change/add some!

I would like to change/edit/add some tabs to the top of the page. I would like to add some to member/logged in and some to nonmember/logged out.


You know where the 'HOME' 'JOIN' 'SIGN IN' etc... is.


I read someone saw a thread on this, but I am having a hell of a time finding info that I can use on this. I see how to add a forum to the tabs, but I wish to do more than just add the forum.

My PHP skills are very very very slim... I can read it 100 times better than I can write it. But if you can give me step by step directions, I know someone else could use em too..

Going though the template open up the script/menu_design.php


Then edit the text as posted in this thread:

I saw it before, but kept looking over it because I thought it was how to add a forum in and I wanted to add in other stuff....

But now how do I add? should I just add in another line of

If I add another line, it starts makeing another row of tabs. Is there any way I can make it sit next to the others? or do I only get so many spaces before it starts a new row?

I'm pretty sure you could do it by shortening the length of the individual tabs via CSS files. I haven't really checked though. Just a thought.
