    Default Editing "faqs".. "contact".... etc...

    Hi guys,

So far so good. Things are going pretty good with the script.... no more majors yet anyway.... But I do have a pretty silly question .

I cannot go figure what pages I need to edit to insert the desired text for those pages (contact, about us, terms, services, etc... ). I have looked in the html templates.... and its just not clear as to which pages i need to put this text in.

    Thanks,
    Ann

Uhoh........ anyone feel like giving a bit of language files 101?
I have used several scripts..... and spent most of my time with matchagency and dsb.... and language files are a totally new animal for me...
Having a hard time grasping the concept..

    Thanks,
    Ann

Or... in aedating version 4.1.1 or later, and/or dolphin - in your language database.

    Ann;
If you are using aedating version 4.1.1 or later

In admin area > go to Language file > search for the following terms and replace with you custom text:

    _TERMS_OF_USE
    _FAQ_INFO
    _ABOUT_US
    _SERV_DESC
    _PRIVACY
    _CONTACT

    Hope this helps.

Default This is what I dont get...

    Hi guys...

Sorry for not being more specific... I am running dolphin 5.2... the newest release.

This is my first go at anything relating to AE.

I do understand the directives about editing the language files through the admin...

This is a detailed description of what I am doing and having trouble with.

This is where I am going to the edit the language file in the admin

this is how I am searching and finding the correct strings to edit...

This is what I am getting when I click on the "edit" link beside a particular language string. Notice on the popup window.... there is no save button. I can see clearly where to input the text..... but I am lost on how to save it.

Am I missing something here guys?

    Thanks,
    Ann

    Default Got it....

Well ..... I did figure out the problem.... and I will be wearing the dunce cap again this week..... lol..

I am blind as a bat... and run with my screen resolution at 800x600. Usually this doesnt cause this kind of issue..... but it did cut off the content on the popup window. So... now that I have changed it and am squinting at the screen..... I have a save button.... LOL.

Boy,... this is good for keeping one humble..

Thanks and have a great day...
    Ann
