Thread: I accidently deleted some members

I accidently deleted some new members in the admin panel who were waiting for approval, how do I get them back? anyone please help!!!! I need all the members I can get. I just dumped 7!!!

I deleted 15 by accident I dont think you can get them back unless they are still in the database.

You can go to your previous days backup - if you have backups - to restore.

If you don't have backups now - you should really consider some sort of a backup policy for your site. I recommend at least daily.

It would be nice if deleted profiles were not actually deleted from the database, when a user or admin does a delete - they could just me marked/flagged "deleted" - and then they could be recoverable in the case of a mistake like this easier.

It's something we will consider for Tornado or as a custom mod.

Iam doing the daily backups now

That is one of the only benefits I had to using dBase files for my website. It has a built-in delete flag. Nothing was really gone until I packed the files.
