    Don't mean to drag this one back up, but i think it's important to a lot of sites.

    After a lot of trawling i managed to find the Postcode.zip file and have attached it here.

    I'm just about to start the task of getting it into mysql and i'll export the script when I have it.

    I now have the official uk postcode sql file from aeweb. it's a 20mb zip file that extracts to 2 125mb sql files containing 1.9 million postcodes.

    Couple of changes:

    1) You need to make to the DB is to increase the field size of ZIPCodes.Zipcode from 5 to 10.

    2) comment out the following lines from search_results.php

    if ( ((int)$zip) == 0 ) 
$z_arr = db_arr("SELECT `Latitude`, `Longitude` FROM `ZIPCodes` WHERE `City` = '$zip'"); 
else
