Default migrating photos from Mojo script =>IQ

    Hi All,
Im taking on the daunting task of Migrating photos from our old SW ( Mojo personals) to IQ.

A few questions to anyonw who has some insight.

    ............................

I notice image files in the /gallery sub dir as well as the /id_img directory. What are the differences?

Do I have to use numbers in the file name for Pic_1_add ON, Pic_0_add_on etc or can I use Alpha too?

Why does Pic_0 keep increasing when one replaces thier main photo? What is that actually a count of?

The mojo software saves all images on the server by imageName.jpg in directories like this:

    00
    > Username1
    >> imageName.jpg
    >> mojoscripts_imageName.jpg
    01
    > Username2
    >> imageName.jpg
    >> mojoscripts_imageName.jpg

SO getting the images off the server will not be fun. Any one know a program that can pull the images out but append the username to the begining IE userName_imageName.jpg?

Ultimately for the images to fit into the AE format, Ill have to have ID_PicXAddOn_imageName.jpg (Id being the AE user ID) . So if you have any thoughts on that too Id appreciate it? Keep in mind that Mojo does not use the same Ids as AE does.

    Thank you

    Hi,

We spoke some about this in a PM - but what you want to do is perhaps best done by a php script - to perhaps

    1) setup a user account for the people you are importing
    2) find and copy the image files from your old software to the id_img folder, with the proper name, and resize them if needed.
    3) update the database photo values with the proper information so the images can be linked to.

If you have more than a couple of users in your old software - writing a script, in the end, will save you time.

It is no doubt a pain in the butt to do it - but there is little option.
