Thread: Taking # of Children out on Join Page

Can someone please walk me through taking the number of children out on the join form. I would like it to have (yes, no) for the selection, by I still don't understand how to change it in the profile desp/profile and in the language file to make it work correctly.

Hi,

You would not do this in the language file - you need to do it in the database.

1) Use phpMyadmin...

2) Open ProfilesDesc...

3) Go to the record you don't want to see - like "Children"

4) Where it says: "show_on_page", Uncheck all of the choices you don't want using control and your mouse click.

0 - all pages
3 - join page
7 - profile view page
25 - profile edit page

5) You can also control other aspects, by changing the visible values - for example, if you want the admin to see it on the profile edit page, but not anyone else.
