Sorry for all the trouble but Smoge, can you or someone tell me how to make a full backup of my data & then how to restore the information to a new database. ?? I need this help urgently.

Perhaps the most direct way is phpMyAdmin...
You can either "Export" the data, and download it...
Or use the operations pages, to make a copy on your server (without a download).
If you want to use the command line, there are some helpful posts in the Database forum.
I find that the phpMyAdmin export method usually works well - but you should try to do an import of the backed up data before you accept the backup as being good (and delete something)
