    Question Need Help No signal????

Hi last week my 550w psu blew up, i got a new artic 500w psu, yet it wouldnt fit in my case, so i now have bought a new collermaster case which is kind of a smaller midi tower for some reason....., anyways i switched everything over and im getting "No signal" have checked all wires the pc boots up yet i dont hear any beeping or anything..., the only thing i can think of is that either my mobo has gone or my gfx has gone due to the psu blowing?, anyone got any ideas i can check?

    Default Try this...

Pull out the Mobo and PS. Place just the mobo and PS on a table, connect the PS to it. With no other PCI cards installed (other than the Graphics card) connect your monitor to it and short the PS jumpers on the mobo and see if it fires up okay there. If the mobo has an onboard graphics, remove the graphics card and try booting from the onboard. If still no luck, there are 3 possibilities, your memory, cpu, or mobo or a combination of the 3. One other thing to note, if the PS comes with a 12-volt 4-pin connector, be sure that's plugged in to the mobo, since most modern graphics controlers require the direct 12V connection. Assuming your board is dead, check out NewEgg for some nice deals on Mobo/CPU combos. You can find some nice deals for under $100 on there.
If at first you don't succeed, go to a forum and ask like hell. (Using Joomla 1.5.18, JomSocial 1.6.12, Fully Customized)
