Thread: Is fcschat open source?

OK, I talked to them the other day. They have what's called the "server side" code, which allows you to use whatever hosting service you want. However, When I asked about open source they told me they did not offer it. Do you think they misunderstood me and the server side code is open source or did you pay an additional amount to get the server side code and open source?

I was trying to compare FCSchat with Chatblazer. have you hear of chat blazer before?

fcschat is not open source code.
if you buy a chatroom you must buy the server side code too.
if you want to upgrade your chatrooom to a newer version you must buy the client and a new server side code again.

If you change your website name, a new host or you change to a different media server you will have to buy a new chatroom and new server side code again this is ridiculas.

Dont fall for it people you will have fun with your chat but it will be soon outdated and then you will have to buy the new version for full price again.
