Thread: Need Help

I have installed the new AeDating on my site. What a difference. Still buggy.

Here is my question

I have installed chat on the site. But when I click on here it takes me to

http://www.mysite.com/aemodule.php?ModuleType=chat

How do I edit it so it will go to the flash chat

Also The Forum is the same way

http://www.mysite.com/aemodule.php?ModuleType=forum

You need to add the modules and activate them within the admin console. The files should be in a folder called "modules" (in 4.1 IQ 0004 at least). Save these files to your hard drive, then upload them through the admin console. To upload them, look on the left menu for a link called "Modules" and upload them there. That's all.

P.S. -- For flash chat, I would use the latest version (v 4.56) from the flash chat developers. You'll have to pay $5 for it, but it's worth it. The other one with the aedating download -v3.8- doesn't seem to work well with 4.1 IQ patch 0004.

I have done the upload of the module and the chat seemed to work good. The problem that I am having with the forum is after I click forum in the members area. It wants to take me to this link

How do I correct this link to make it go to

http://www.matchposts.com/forum

Depending on your aedating / dolphin version:

You would fix this in aechat.php or in the module table in your database - this is where the links are.
