Thread: class BxTemplConfig error 5.5 - 0000

this error happens when ever im logged in as admin.

as admin, i click on the " home " link.
then if i click on any profiles showing up ( featured,online or top )
i get this:

Catchable fatal error: Object of class BxTemplConfig could not be converted to string in /home/.dumboy/xxxxx/xxxx/profile.php on line 249



anyone have the same issue ? or a resolution?

It appears you have a corrupted install, I am just curious, is your original installation folder still there with the install files in it? The reason I ask is that error happened when boonex first installed 5.5 they did not remove the folder with the install files and when the server rebooted the admin panel functions failed including this same error. Not sure if that is it but it is the only knowledge I have to share. Hopefully someone can help, have you ask boonex folks yet?

I have the exactly same problems after setting up Dolphin.

After i have registered as a new user the "Member Menu" section is empty. If i try to check my inbox or upload a photo i get back an empty white page.

When i look in to the apache error log i see following message:

[Sun Apr 01 18:23:33 2007] [error] [client 84.75.132.210] PHP Catchable fatal error: Object of class BxTemplConfig could not be converted to string in /usr/local/data/www/www.reply.ch/public/profile.php on line 249, referer: http://www.reply.ch/member.php

I'm using:
* FreeBSD 4.10
* Apache/2.0.53
* PHP 5.2.0
* Dolphin-v[1].5.6.0004.zip

I tested all Versions from 5.6.0001 to 5.6.0004. Always the same error. Can somebody help on this? I'm sure that there are more people with this error message.

I would really like to get this software running. Does somebody of you have a hint?
