Thread: Video and audio files

Members can upload pictures, but cannot upload video and audio files. Anyone encountered this with 5.5? Cmods are oke for sound and video dir ( 777 ) tried to remove access file, still nothing

Having the same problem with 5.5. Can not upload audio or video. Does anyone have a suggestion on where to start looking for a solution?

Ok, gallery audio and video uploads do work, but there appears to be an issue with the file sizes, even though the maximum size for audio and video files in the global settings for the gallery are set high enough. I actually set the video to 20meg (20000000) for a test and then tried to upload a 3.1 meg avi, to no avail. Is there an issue/bug in 5.5.

This is a server issue your server upload and download maybe set to only 2 megs. if you have a shared account it will be set low.

i have the same problem,some months ago... but was able to fix it...

anyway, was there any error message displayed? i think that could help me diagnose the problem..
