    here is a difference between 2 lines:
    lodlock suggested - $file = "$ID_VIDEO_DIR$p_arr[ID]_0_$p_arr[Video_addon]$video_ext";
    and mine - $file = "$ID_VIDEO_DIR$p_arr[ID]_0_$p_arr[Video_addon].$video_ext";

    did you have a dot right before $video_ext"; ?

    M@rix's version is correct and I would suggest using his.

    I had a hell of a time fixing that too on my box is mod security (linux) and it blocked hell of alot of stuff that dolphin does and my rules are not that complicated the main one was tmp i have had to change it to temp i am going to try to put the temp dir out of the web root for security and see how it goes

    i have heard that red5 has to be installed on the server but i need to get this clarified first i do not like installing new stuff on my box

    This is my first post here, so please be gentle

    I installed GPLdate v0.02 yesterday and have been very impressed so far..
    until i started to test the video upload.

    I have followed all the recommendations above but still all I receive is the dreaded "failed to upload video" message when logged in as a member.

    I have upped the file size limit in admin also but with no joy.
    i'm trying to upload a file that is only 683 KB and only 14 seconds long and my id_avi dir is set to 777 also.

    if I upload via the gallery it's fine, I can upload it through admin but it shows as 0 KB.

    any ideas?

    Tony,

    Take a look inside of the tmp folder and id_avi folder and see if your video either completely failed or possibly made it into one of those folders. If you see a file in one of those folders look to make sure that it has the ending .avi afterwards. If it doesn't you should find M@rix's fix for that by searching either for it or for posts he has written to. If it is not found in either than something else is happening here.

    Default transfer error

    When i upload the avi files are renamed and sent to the tmp directory. Which is fine. but trying to view them i get the following error:
    Download and see
    Code:
    Warning: filesize(): Stat failed for 1_0_2.avi.avi (errno=2 - No such file or directory) in /home/content/76/html/inc/profiles.inc.php on line 359
    (size:0kb)
    After the are uploaded should't they need approval of amin then moved to the avi folder?
    Should there be another folder inside id_avi folder?
    Please correct me if this is wrong.

    any ideas on what is happening.

    still don't understand why boonex did this in their "upgrade"

    Hello everyone,

    I have been search all about video/audio upload topics in Modmysite.

    The problem (sound and video) upload it still can't find any solutions in the Modmysite. I can upload audio /video through "Member Gallery",but not in Video/Sound upload section.
    I have change profile inc.php as member M@trx said above, but still unsuccess, all "audio & sound" files" which I upload through "Member Gallery",
    all found in tmp Folder, not in the "id_avi or id_wav" folder. And the file type of name which only shows XXX.tmp, not XXX.avi or XXX.mp3.

    When m@trx mentioned above:
    1. (uncomment lines, which means "Delete those two lines" ??
    2. (finally comment line, which means " Add the comment line at last" ??

    Very appreciate in deed if you could help, I have been working two weeks on this.

    Thank you.
