    Default Dolphin v6.1.4 + phpsuexec

    hi there,

    i have been trying to get boonex Dolphin installed on a server (paid hosting) that uses phpsuexec.

    after searching far and wide for a fix, i found one here:

    after using the index.php file for a v6.1.4, i now get an error for which i cannot find any information for resolution:
    Code:
    Warning: require_once(BX_DIRECTORY_PATH_PLUGINSServices_JSON.php) [function.require-once]: failed to open stream: No such file or directory in /home/rightkbc/public_html/dolphin/inc/classes/BxDolProfileFields.php on line 5

Fatal error: require_once() [function.require]: Failed opening required 'BX_DIRECTORY_PATH_PLUGINSServices_JSON.php' (include_path='.:/usr/lib/php:/usr/local/lib/php') in /home/rightkbc/public_html/dolphin/inc/classes/BxDolProfileFields.php on line 5
    in the 6.1.4 section there is some reference made to phpsuexec in regards to a "500 internal server error":
    Dolphin 6.1 - 500 Internal server error -FIXED!!! :: lazerup's blog

    but this described fix is NOT the issue i have, the php.ini file already has globals off OK, and the htaccess file is also correct script.... this can only mean that there may be an installation issue, or a compatability issue.

    my questions:
    is the v6.0 index.php phpsuexec file (by Smoge) compatible with v6.1 ?

    if so, then what could the errors mean ?
    (note that Services_JSON.php + BxDolProfileFields.php files both exist OK)

    if NOT, then what could be causing the errors ?

    Yes - CLEAN 6.1.4 has an alternative installer in /install which supports phpSuExec.

    Yes - and make sure, no openbasedir or safemode is in effect - as this will break the script (and many other scripts).

    If so, you need new hosting perhaps.

    yep, the Dolphin CLEAN 6.1.4 installed well with phpsuexec

    my new problem is phpbb integration...
    although the forum/index.php page does exist:
    RightKB.com • Index page

    the integrated forum.php:
    Forum
    doesnt recognise it:
    Code:
    Not Found

The requested URL /forum/index.php was not found on this server.

Additionally, a 404 Not Found error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request.
Apache/2.2.11 (Unix) mod_ssl/2.2.11 OpenSSL/0.9.8b mod_bwlimited/1.4 Server at rightkb.com Port 80
    something else for me to sort out

    i found workaround for this is to use the full url to the phpbb forum in the __phpBB3__ key

    another workaround is to install dolphin into the root dirictory instead of a subdirectory.
