Thread: Dolphin 6.03 Groups Latest Post error

Dolphin 6.0.3 + Ocra-free + Ray-free (latest version as of 12/8/2007)

Hello Hello everyone...

I was wondering if anyone is getting an error on the group.php

Example: www.yoursite.com/group.php?ID=1

The page loads correctly but the bottom section "Group Forum" does not display correctly. I have found others that are having the same problem and even one guy that fixed it buy paying a programmer to explain what is going on but DID'T POST THE FIX!! LOL! (It was on another forum).

I reviewed the html on his site that has it all working and the only thing I can really see since I don't have his group.php file is an xml tag difference. My html has a <?xml version="1.0" encoding="utf-8"?> and his references like this <?xml version="1.0"?>

Now I am not the greatest at troubleshooting and am by no way a programmer, but I have installed tons of scripts and applied mods and patches because I follow directions very well. But my site is not modded besides what came out of the box.

I also noticed that on my site info is displayed starting like this "clienthttp://", but on another site I was working on with different hosting it actually displays the Header again lol. and gives me some IE script error reporting:

Not sure how much of this will help but ANY feedback would be great. If you have a solution please post it here rather than private messaging me so that others can read up as well.

I have same problem

Interesting fact, I am working with another person that had the same problem but I found he was missing a page. The 2 sites are hosted on different servers so I am thinking that there is something that must be different about the software on the two servers. One works, and one does not. Each installed with the same version of software.

Gotta love it! If I find out anything else I'll post it here. There has to be something different with either the server platforms or the xml scripting support, at least that is where I am leaning as of now.

FYI - make sure you have the /groups/orca/xml/orca.php file on your server if you are using the dolphin 6.0.3+rayfree+orcafree version (latest version as of 12/07) This was the file that I was missing on the one server... still having issues with the other server.

It appears that XSL support was not installed on my server (PHP). After installing it Groups Forum is now working and displaying just fine
